More from the 2003 Gladiator Challenge. This event, essentially a tug-of-war using just one arm, is a test of raw power. To win, you must drag your opponent across the neutral zone. This heavyweight match-up featured pro bodybuilder Jodi Michaels at 148 pounds pitted against the world’s tallest fitness competitor, Mikayla Miles, who weighed in at 195 pounds. In the end, Mikayla’s size and strength proved too much for bodybuilder Jodi to handle.

Today we added our first set of images from the 2003 Gladiator Challenge event held on the beach in Vancouver, BC. The concept behind our Gladiator Challenge is simple: take the best of the old American Gladiators TV show, cut out the glitz, add more action, and walk away with an event that features a great deal more excitement. These shots feature Bonnie versus Roseanne, both weighing 126 pounds, in the Conquer Ring in what proved to be the most heated battle of the event. As you’ll see in the photos, these two were dead even, but finally one managed to wrestle the other out of the ring for the victory.
